Book on Democratization of Media
Vinaya Kumar Kasajoo, wrote Media Ko Loktantrikaran to raise
awareness of Nepalis regarding human rights. Kasajoo is of the opinion
that Nepali media have been shaped by feudalism, and that democratization
of media is essential in the course of the democratization of the
country.
With the advent of absolute democracy, Nepalis have got an opportunity
to shape their future with their own hands. At this historical juncture,
the new role to be played by media should be pre-determined.
